
I’m truly living in a state of abundant bliss right now.
After years of struggle, frustration, and striving, I’m finally experiencing a flow of prosperity that’s giving me chills.
But it wasn’t easy to get here. If I’m honest, it was brutal, heartwrenching, and pretty terrifying at times.
Becoming a new version of yourself requires grit, determination, a deep connection to your “why,” and, above all else, consistency.
Below, I’m sharing the three consistent actions I took to ditch my past beliefs and settings, uplevel my perception, and start walking as an abundant be-ing.
Action #1: I heal and work with my nervous system.
The safer you feel = more abundance.
Before I started working with my nervous system settings, my manifesting felt frustrating.
That’s because I didn’t realize how important it is for your body to feel safe receiving what you’re asking for.
If you want more money, but your nervous system sees that as a threat because of an experience it stored, you won’t be able to receive that money. Or, you’ll receive it and instantly lose it, spend it, or won’t know how to hold it.
This information was life-changing for me.
I was too focused on mindset work, which only encompasses 20% of the information we process. The rest of the information is stored in the nervous system.
When you include nervous system regulation in your practice, you’ll start seeing more results because you’re recalibrating your safety settings.
And when you feel safer letting in more, you’ll start to take new actions and notice new opportunities.
Here’s what I do every day for my nervous system:
- Check in with my current state — am I in ventral, sympathetic, dorsal, or a combo?
- Breathe and release any tension so I can return to ventral (safety setting)
- Use somatic exercises to connect with my body and feel safe — humming, swaying, wringing out my wrists, etc.
- Remind my nervous system that it’s safe to receive new things and take one small action to reprogram my body

Action #2: I started setting boundaries — verbal and nonverbal.
When your energy is scattered all over the place, it’s challenging to focus on creating your desired reality.
Enter boundaries.
Now, boundaries are a challenging topic for most of us because our culture defines love as being available to everyone.
Your nervous system is also always seeking connection with others, so for a lot of us, setting boundaries may feel rude, mean, or cold-hearted.
But boundaries are how you’ll leap from surviving to thriving. And the more you do it, the easier it gets!
The more I set boundaries (and admit to myself that I even need them!), the more I’m able to receive. Why? Because boundaries create space for us. And when there’s more space, you can attract more of what you truly want.
There are verbal and non-verbal boundaries, and you should incorporate both.
An example of a verbal boundary would be telling someone you’re unavailable without the need to explain yourself, while an example of a nonverbal boundary would be taking the time you need to respond to a text or email.
Boundaries are powerful and should be used often because they protect your energy, time, resources, and sense of autonomy.
You’ll also feel more powerful, aligned, and self-connected, which is a great recipe for manifesting more.

Action #3: I started being nicer to myself.
Self-love is alchemizing.
Self-love is magnetizing.
Self-love is energizing.
When I started being nicer to myself, ditched self-criticism, and truly saw myself as worthy of my own love/compassion, a deep shift occurred in my manifesting abilities.
Here’s what no one talks about: when you manifest something, what you’re truly experiencing is self-connection. That’s what we all want.
We all want to come home to ourselves (I discuss this further in my book, which you can learn more about HERE), and feel that sense of inner intimacy.
Because YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE! You want to know yourself as that. THAT is why we want to manifest anything — to experience ourselves as the all that is.
You want that rendezvous with yourself. It’s not about the money or the relationship or the car — it’s about feelings and states of being.
Falling in love with yourself is your fastest ticket to experiencing more material expressions.
Because everything you desire is about a self-perception of what it would feel like to “be that person.”
Start today! Notice what you say to yourself or how you criticize yourself. Then, create some affirmations to replace those old thoughts and perceptions.
Here are a few ideas to build self-love:
- take yourself out on a date
- start a hobby that’s just for you
- treat yourself to something beautiful (like flowers or a plant)
- make a list of all the qualities you like about yourself and read it every morning
- treat yourself the way you treat someone you love — you’ll notice how much you give to others, but cheat yourself out of your own affection
Treating yourself with love and compassion will carry you far away from your current reality into the life you truly want.
